Cloudy Bay was the first, and for many it remains the best: it single-handedly established the stylistic characteristics of Sauvignon Blanc from the Marlborough region of New Zealand’s South Island. Pale yellow in the glass, it has bright aromas of peach, lime, figs and grass on the nose. Fruit-forward flavors are balanced by solid acidity into a long, round finish. Try it with pesto-based pastas or Southeast Asian cuisine.
