Founded in 1959, Chandon Argentina was the famed Champagne house’s first venture abroad, a pioneering venture located near Mendoza in the foothills of the Andes. Chandon Argentina quickly became known for producing sparkling wines of great purity of expression. Chandon Garden Spritz is, however, something a little bit different and, as the first globally distributed Chandon wine, Chandon feels it represents the future of their community. Garden Spritz adds a unique twist to Chandon’s basic Chardonnay/Pinot Noir/Semillon blend, the creation of a bitter orange character through the addition of natural extracts from hand-picked orange peels, herbs and spices. The result is an exciting and refreshing new aperitif, ready to serve from the bottle with perhaps the addition of a slice of orange and a cinnamon stick.
