Launched in 1998, the Ca' del Sarto line of wines are a product of a unique collaboration between local vintners and Enotec Imports; they are all handcrafted small-batch wines produced in some of the best regions of Italy by top winemakers who specialize in those varietals. The program began with two friends in Friuli who helped Enotec source their Pinot Grigio, followed a year later by Maurilio Palladino who produces the Barbera d’Alba and who is renowned for his world-class Barolo and Barbera wines from Piemonte. This red from the Abruzzo region is a blend of Montepulciano d'Abruzzo and Sangiovese; done in stainless steel, it has generous aromas of red fruits and spicy notes and is soft on the palate, with goos structure, balance, and length.
