The Abbazia di Novacella is a monastery located in the northernmost winegrowing region of Italy on the southern side of the Alps. Here the mineral-rich soils, the high elevation, and the cool climate make for wines with intense aromas and flavors and mouthwatering acidity. Originally founded more than 850 years ago, it still functions as a community of Augustinian Canons Regular. This Kerner is an aromatic white with apple and peach fruit on the nose with a hint of mango, ripe and full on the palate, its opulence cut by crisp acidity.
