Rastignac - Cognac VSOP (750ml)
Rastignac Cognac is made at Chateau des Plassons, which also produces a line of cognacs under the name oof the chateau itself. The operation is run by two brothers, David and Julien Pannaud, who bought the chateau in 2008, thereby fulfilling their joint ambition of being producers of cognac. Their VSOP is a blend of more than ten different spirits distilled from Ugni Blanc grapes grown in vineyards around the chateau. Aged for more than four years in Limousin oak, it is subtle, smooth, and elegant.
