Myers’s is a Jamaican rum now produced by spirits conglomerate Diageo; named for founder Fred L. Myers, this molasses-derived blend of up to nine different rums has been made since 1879. Myers's uses only pure Jamaican molasses and is produced from continuous pot still distillation and is then matured for up to four years in white oak barrels. Characterful and distinctive, it is considered the preeminent cocktail dark rum.
