Established in 1879, The Glenrothes is an award-winning Speyside single malt and a pioneer in the whisky industry. All their single malt is vintage whisky, whisky distilled in a particular year that has reached its peak of maturity, character and flavor. The 18-year-old was released as part of the Soleo Collection, a range that takes its name from the process of sun-drying grapes in Jerez for sherry production, and so you should expect plenty of sherry notes throughout the range. Aged solely in sherry-seasoned casks, this 18-year-old has vanilla and orange on the nose, dried fruit notes on the palate, and a lasting sweetness on the finish.
