After some twenty years as a passionate home distiller, Mike Cameron went full-bore in 2007, founding, with a partner, Rebecca Creek Distillery. With that venture safely n the ranks of the top craft distilleries in the country, Mike, with new partners, moved on to start Devils River Whiskey in 2016. Based in San Antonio, the project originally had a sole purpose: to create a premium Texas Bourbon, which indeed launched successfully in April 2017. They have since gone on to devise a highly successful line of flavored bourbons, including this Coffee Bourbon, made by steeping their award-winning Bourbon with dark-roasted Vienna coffee beans for at least 24 hours at a low temperature to bring out the smooth, sweet flavor cold brew coffees are known for.
