The husband-and-wife team of John House and Ksenija Kostic, who worked together for several years at Oregon’s Chehalem winery, set up on their own in 2011, with the specific aim of producing Oregon wines that are honest reflections of their time and place. Grapes for their wines, almost all white at the moment, are sourced from nine different vineyards throughout the state, all of which are focused on sustainable farming practices. Their Old Love White is a blend of Aligoté, Riesling, Gewurztraminer, Early Muscat, Albarino, Roussanne, and Pinot Blanc; racy yet texturally rich, the wine showcases the team’s skills at blending from across Oregon’s different vineyard sites as well as their mastery of low intervention winemaking.
