The Perrin family is in its fifth generation of ownership of Chateau Beaucastel, widely recognized as one of Chateauneuf-du-Pape’s finest domains. Yet their work in Chateauneuf was only the beginning of their success. In the past forty years the Perrins have built the negociant La Vielle Ferme into a highly profitable brand; partnered with Brad Pitt and Angeline Jolie to create Miraval rose; and in 1989 they even branched out to California, helping to establish Tablas Creek in Paso Robles. Here is the white version of La Vieille Ferme, an engaging and refreshing blend of Grenache Blanc, Bourboulen, Roussanne and Ugni Blanc, it is fruity, crisp and dry, satisfyingly round and complex.
