Located in New York’s Hudson River Valley, Tuthilltown is the state’s first distillery since the repeal of Prohibition. It was founded in 2003 when Ralph Erenzo and Brian Lee converted a historic old gristmill into a micro-distillery. In 17 short years it has grown to a company of 50 employees with a stunning visitors’ center and an onsite restaurant. Hudson Whiskey is one of Tuthilltown’s many products, and this is their rye, New York’s first straight rye whiskey in nearly a century and made in a style all their own. It is bold and spicy, with notes of citrus and honey and a bright mint finish.
